The NZDA Roadmap Towards Better Oral Health was officially launched on Thursday, 21 August 2025, at 9:00 AM in the Banquet Hall at The Beehive, Parliament.

The launch was hosted by Sam Uffindell MP, Chair of the Health Select Committee, on behalf of the Minister of Health, Hon Simeon Brown.

Members of the media attended the event and had the opportunity to speak with:

• Dr Robin Whyman, Roadmap Author and NZDA Director (Dental Policy)

• Four practising dentists, who shared personal insights into the current state of oral health in New Zealand and the urgent need for the Roadmap
